Search function in sales section doesn't work

When I type in "Daytona" into the search bar in the Rolex Sales section, the first watch that comes up is from 2009. Anyone have any tips (hacks) to find watches they desire in the sales section without having to scroll through all of the pages one by one?

Don’t have any tips other than trying the “advanced search” function.....but it’s been messed up for a while. Not just for Daytona. I rarely use this for sale section anymore for this very reason.

Limit the search within the last 2 weeks and that should help

I'm not sure what you guys are doing, but when I go to the Rolex For Sale section, and click on the 'search this forum' function on the right hand side near the top of the page, type in Daytona, I get 6 Daytona FS threads from today, and everything in a chronological order descending from there. Pages and pages.
Works as it should.

And you are searching from the Rolex Classifieds, using the 'Search this forum' feature?
Odd.. I get 505 results, and 21 pages. All in order from newest to oldest.

Unless it's a browser issue, or if using Tapatalk?

Great, that's good to know. Thanks for letting us know!

What browser were you using? Safari?

Ok was wondering, using my iPad and usually getting posts from 2011, today it started with 2009. Maybe chrome will work better.

Nope chrome didn’t work either, I guess mobile devices aren’t working.

Typed black bay 58, and the first post was 2010.

Tried to attach a screen shot and Cant resize it.

Is the forum broken in that way for good?

Just tried again, using my IPad also, and got 21 pages of listings, starting with 5 threads from today.
Perplexing, as I have no issues on any of my Apple devices, but have been made aware that many of the windows platform search engines, do have troubles..

The search function has a memory. Try logging out and logging back in and then doing a fresh search, selecting precise search criteria.
The search function does work, otherwise how can it work for some people and supposedly not others.

Logging out and back in does not seem to help
