Thanks! I agree...there is just something about the way a domed crystal catches the light. The DSSD, my BB58, my Omega Seamaster 300 and my Omega Speedy Pro are some of my favorites...all have domed crystals. Coincidence? Probably not:)

Agree on all counts! It is a masterpiece and a technological marvel!

I know that feeling. No worries...as long as you have the DSSD you are all set!

Always a pleasure to encounter a WIS at unexpected times.
Thanks, Grady...very cool story! It is always fun to meet other WIS in the wild. I have only seen a couple DSSD out in the real world and until this one arrived, I had never actually seen the JC dial in person. I am not sure I have ever seen a picture that truly captures it.

Congrats and welcome. I went back and forth for months - is it too big, is it practical, is the dial too extreme. Then I bought it. Zero regrets and I wear it every single day.

Thanks! I answered those questions as follows: Is it too big? Probably. Is it practical? Probably not. Is the dial too extreme? Nah...I love a pop of color. Should I buy one and keep it forever? Absolutely! There is just nothing else like it on the market.

Congratulations! Can't comment on the SD43 but I have the JC12 and it is a fantastic watch. Agree with your points.

Wear in the best of health

Thanks! Although it has quite the following, I would have to agree that I never really "understood" the hype around the Daytona.

It's funny how TRF works....all these years and I've always respected the DSSD from afar but thought it wasn't for me. Now, thanks to Charles, I'm thinking, the pinnacle of Rolex engineering should be on my wrist.

Congratulations! I would say the 126660 JC is perfect! It has temporarily ended my desire to add any other sports watch to the collection.

Great pickup, I would imagine this one may stay with you. I had similar issues with the SD43, I loved the look but wasn’t that comfortable for me. I much prefer the Deepsea, and good choice on the JC.

I think when this off the charts dial is no longer in production, people may appreciate it more. It’s got to be one of, if not the most unique steel sports models in production.
