Price of Daytona in grey market

The price of Daytona in grey market has increased a lot in the past few months.
, probably now selling by the grey dealer at usd 38,000! Is the demand still very high at this price tag? What’d happened? Its production still hasn’t discontinued!

We should start a separate Daytona grey price forum with as many threads we have on the topic.

Weli what else would many have to post about, many years ago the forum was started to be a discussion about the Rolex watches and the history of the Rolex brand. But sadly those days are long gone now its a $$££€€,investment, silly nickname, discontinued forum.

what's the big deal? the world is changing and you've got to move on, perhaps people will be back talking about rolex history and craftsmanship in the near future when the time comes!

Yes the world has moved on but not for the better IMHO,as for most of today's Rolex owners talking about the history of the brand afraid thats way down the list,as now to many Rolex watches are just seen as £££$$$€€€€€ objects nothing more.

No one's fault but Rolex.

Rolex changed more than the world since their heritage of tool watches by limited availability and driving hype. Just smart business really.

The Cosmograph Daytona in particular has a cringeworthy history. With a name like Cosmograph they wanted to go to the moon and failed to the Speedmaster. Yet in the end they repositioned and figured out how to become haute de gamme.

Agree about the driving hype, but not on the limited availability, ask yourself why are there most so called hot watches at grey dealers.Nearly all models hundreds of them all at silly prices why, because Rolex are now just £££$$$€€€ objects. And the word Cosmograph has nothing to do with the moon watch yes its linked to outer space just like many other things at that time.Like cars with huge fins that looked like space-crafts, even TVs made to look like space suit helmets, robot toys etc back then in the 1960s outer space was new.

A new thread every other day or so is not so big deal.
You guys should see the crypto forums. They have a new ATH threads every 15 mins or so.
That said, this kind whining thing will only push the price even crazier.
U're racing against the rappers / footballers / new crypto millionaires & whatnot on the waiting list. Good luck.

I've come to the conclusion that these type of threads will continue until all those with nothing to do and all day to do it ...find something constructive to do or write about.

If you are annoyed by all this Daytona nonsense and repetition, move on to another thread that suits your tastes.
