Finally, just because you can't imagine it, doesn't mean it does not happen in the real world. I am not going to be making a case as it is against forum policy, but if you look on Google, even Reddit, plenty of proof in the pudding there. |

I asked my AD about this on Saturday and was told bracelets will not be sold separately from the watch.
Still early from the release so hopefully it changes. Options are nice, especially since you can't special order your preferred combination. |

I actually think rolex does sell bracelets. I'm not sure via AD, and it has to be fit to the watch from factory. But OF Daytonas can switch to Leather. and I believe for example if you send in a watch without a bracelet and ask for a new one they will sell it to you, for a lot of money.

I am not sure if Rolex will sell you a bracelet through ADs like some are saying. It will be like the DJ41s. You get the bracelet that came with the watch. ADs do not have bracelets lying around so that they can swap it on the spot for you.
There are ADs who will sell you a bracelet, without asking for the original back. But, those ADs willing to order one for you are hard to find these days. |

Next up. Bracelet wait lists and the associated hand wringing and bundling.

It would be a good move if they sell the bracelet separately if you have a watch for which the part is made for and in catalog. For example Oyster and Jubilee for 126710 but only Oyster for 116710.
It is a good revenue stream, but more importantly it is a good way of taming the demand on GMT. Imagine if they don't sell the bracelet separately, most of the Jubilee owners would get back in line for the Oyster version which would create even more scarcity. |

I think that it's much more likely that Rolex might allow a bracelet swap.
That's been done with other parts that are consistent with a given reference.

It is true that Rolex do sell bracelet alone. One of my AD told me last week that I could buy an Oyster bracelet to be put on my GMT Batgirl (Jubilee bracelet).
Same apply to Pepsi, as well.

I had no problem ordering a Jubilee bracelet for my DJ41 that came stock with oyster bracelet. AD was happy to do it and they had it within a couple weeks from Rolex. No swap required. Didn’t insist on installing it or even seeing the watch.
No reason to think they wouldn’t do same for GMT and Skydweller now that both bracelets are considered stock configurations for those watches. |

I’d be interested in the correct oyster bracelet for my BLRO.

You can officially buy an additional bracelet for your watch providing it is an original option for the given reference number. For example, for the Pepsi and Batgirl, you can have both bracelets, no swaps or trades. Anyone getting other info is incorrectly informed.

Went to Dubaï mall boutique yesterday and I have been informed that the oyster bracelet for reference 126710BLNR was not even available on their system The sales person also told me that they will be able to provide me only with the original bracelet (jubilee) and not with the oyster Hope this was a wrong info as I’m planning to install the oyster on my 126710BLNR Envoyé de mon iPhone en utilisant Tapatalk |

It takes a few months for the service website to update after new models come out. At that point, if they know how to use it correctly, they will see it is an option.

My Rolex AD told me yesterday that no replacement bracelets would be available for 18 to 24 months...in CONUS at least. New GMT II's would have to be bought as is.

They are more readily available than the actual watches. Who knows with the GMT II though, maybe there will be more demand.
