Was getting a physical and the time came when he said bend over and this is going to hurt. I turned around and said, if I loved it I would want a kiss. He then commenced seeing if I still had my tonsils from the bottom up! After that I could never look at that dj the same after that as it brought that nightmare back!

No, but I one did completely destroy a Omega Seamaster while riding a skateboard, showing off to my teenage daughter (who is now 28). I wish I had taken pictures of that watch - 100% totaled it.

Started hurting at 1 am and woke up 6 am with no more pain for the rest of the trip. Visit sick bay on a cruise ship sometime. It isn’t a pleasant experience. I’m screaming for drugs and they’re trying to take a 40 yr medical history from me.

Later in the day noticed 2 stones and a blood clot in the urinals. Didn’t measure those.

The finger was a “stupid penalty.” I knew better, got in a hurry and didn’t wear work gloves. I knew where the pressure was and what was going to happen. I didn’t anticipate getting flung into it that fast.

Life lessons. More water and more work gloves.
Last month I had to have surgery for an 8mm boulder. Worst experience ever. And I've had a heart attack...

I held my Mothers hand as she passed away wearing a DJ my parents gave me many years ago as a gift. 10 years later while wearing the same watch I placed my Father's cremated remains in a crypt at Arlington National Cemetery. I 'retired' that watch and don't wear it anymore. But will never get rid of it. Maybe someone will wear it to my funeral.

On a more positive note!.... I got married in the same watch. I still have both the watch and the wife ... both are keepers

One crazy night, I wore it and the experience was really bad.

I should have left it around my wrist.

Was taking the E scooter out for a ride taking a break from the bbq,

went over a pot hole

Managed to force my body to fall onto my whole right side so then my left arm (i wear the watch on my left) swung upwards not hitting the ground first

ended up going hospital and getting woulds treated took a whole month

But hey the watch is fine hahaha i dont mind battle scars on my watch but if i was to fall watch down first i dunno if i would be too happy hehehehe ( fun scooters though)

I was wearing my Datejust last month when my throat closed up and I couldn’t breath, or talk. Had to go to the hospital with tonsillitis, just had those suckers removed and I am enduring a horrible recovery while wearing my Datejust.

Stubbed my big toe a month ago, entire nail is black but looks like it isn't going to fall off so jury is still out about how bad the experience was.

Seriously man...take the time to compose a complete thought.

Wishing you a speedy recovery! Something about these watches that means so much to us WIS, that though it has ABSOLUTELY no theoretical benefits, watches, forums and sales sites (I.e watch recon) just helps us endure hard times, even if it’s just a distraction.

Thank you, I’m a week in today, hopefully by next week I can eat normal food, eating like an infant right now.

I read posts on this forum while wearing a Rolex. Some of them are definitely bad experiences.

Yeah, then you have to pay extra.

Hate it when that happens.

Shit happens regardless of your watch choice. It's generally referred to as life.

I've got some dental treatment coming up I'm less than happy about. Wondering what to wear and if whoever is operating the drill/corkscrew is an enthusiast..

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”

I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

Nice to see someone else reads Reddit on here...

Someone once told me: "that's a rolex!" Then proceeded to punch me in the face
