3255 vs 3285
Hi everyone,
Is it fair to say that the 3285 movement is basically a modified 3255? What is common to the architecture of these movements and what is materially different? Thanks!

All movements that are designated 32xx share the same base movement. So virtually every part is identical until you reach the date module. There are a few parts that are not interchangeable in the base movement depending on the variants in question.

3255 vs 3285
Thank you. I’ve been into watches, and always wanted a Pepsi gmt, but was drawn to the explorer II for its paraflex shock protection. But now am so happy to hear new gmt II has it as well. 3285 has best of all Rolex features except for water resistance rating of “only" 100m. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
