Well one isn't necessarily better, but the sub clasp has the added security of the fliplock.
Yep, Massapequa Park location

I was confused by the reference to a buckle. The advertisement picture is from a sub. The Explorer II came with the Shorter GMT fliplock clasp.

Definitely sketchy. You have every right to ask what happened and there better be some sort of reasonable answer as to why. Bait and switch

I'd be cautious of doing any further business with them if they give you an unacceptable reason.

The Watch and bracelet are different in the pictures of the listing and what you received.

The Green casebook sticker is a bit of a giveaway.

I've recently acquired a T serial from 1996.. I asked the exact clasp question just a few days ago.. Unless your US paper has the serial of the bracelet (mine is international and doesn't have the bracelet serial) I think you may just have the original clasp.. My T serial has the same clasp(non-Fliplock).

They’ve accidentally inserted a Submariner photo into the listing. Your clasp is correct, dates are close, it’s fine. No need to call them.

Now the hunt for a better clasp, the one you received has it's crown grinded off
