Selling Rolex Watch

Hi All,

Just want to share my recent experience with some watch dealers on line.

There are a lot of companies, advising online about buying your Rolex watches, or trading up, and some one even tells me the buying from you price. Everything looks nice, and I was feeling good. So I did contact them, since they are a public company. The estimate came back, and looked reasonable. They promised to pay the shipping fee. Everything looks OK. But the trouble came after they received the watch.

The money they final offer was much lower than their promised! Missing a few minutes, a link, and all kinds go excuses!

The advise is another BS. Same like-new watch, their listed sell-to-me price are much higher than their final offers. I spoke to them, and want to return my watches. The return fee was much higher.

Be ware this kind of BS companies.

i think what you can learn from this is to take it to a dealer you can visit in person, and get a quote on the spot, rather than in the mail

This is a shame. You should always be very careful with this kind of thing. I like beer's advice.

Always have to be careful as many of these type of dealers are banking on you not wanting the hassle of returning to squeeze you. Always research and talk to clients if possible.

I just sold 3 watches to DavidSW, took about 5 minutes of my time. Good price, I got the funds the day he received the watches, he even took care of the cost of shipping and emailed me the label.

The guy is a first class, class act.
