I had to make this choice as well and it was a clear choice for me to go with the black dial 718. First I much prefer black and gold over green and gold. It's a more classic look. Second the green 24hr hand offers a much greater contrast against the black dial compared to the gold hand against green dial.

I prefer the black dial, although have not seen the green in person

I really wanted to like the gold GMT but tried it on and both myself and my wifey thought it looked a bit too old against my skin tone. I voted neither but if I had to pick one, it would be black.

I ended up with a RG AP but if not, I think a Rolex in RG would have done the trick.

I voted green but if I were buying I'd probably get the black. I love the way the green looks but I'm afraid I'd get tired of it after a while and wish for the black. If I had other gold watches I'd go green in a heart beat.

I voted green because if you're buying a gold watch, it's already unique and the green helps to emphasize that. Especially since there is no stainless steel GMT II with a green face. Let us know what you decide!

Having the LV and the LV-C, I would love to have the green and gold combo to complete the trifecta.

I would love to see it with a green bezel!!!
