FS: 16600 P-series Sea Dweller.

Hi all,

I'll be up front and let you know that I joined TRF and paid my pledge so I could post this listing. Having said that, I chose TRF because I have read through dozens of threads and have been blown away by the number of passionate and knowledgeable enthusiasts here and I knew that this would be a good place to find a new home for my first Rolex.

I am the original owner of my Sea Dweller that I acquired late 2002. Since then, it had been my daily driver pretty much all the time until late last year, when I sent it for its first and only service. I'm a pretty active person and my Sea Dweller has been a good companion. I did not baby it, I used it as a quality tool, as it was meant to be used during all sorts of activities, from working on my old trucks and cars, to landscaping, to camping, swimming and salt water sailing. And yes, I even rinsed it off and wore it to the office, formal events and my own wedding. It has never left me down.

Last December I decided to send it in for service through Ben Bridge Jewellers in Bellevue, WA since it was starting to run fast and had gone strong for 15 years, it was time. I declined using Ben Bridge's certified techs and had it sent to the factory service center instead. There it received a full service plus some new parts at a cost of about $1200.

At that time I picked up two more watches, a Millgauss and a Datejust, and feel that this is a good time to let a new owner enjoy the Sea Dweller as much as I have. Other than some signs of light use since its refurb, it's in excellent condition and has the balance of the two year factory warranty. As mentioned, it's a P serial 16600 that I purchased in 2002 but could be a 2001, I'm not sure how to check that. I have saved all the papers, tags boxes etc. and that goes along with the restoration receipts, warranty papers etc.

I'm looking for $8500 USD and I will do a personal transaction here in the Seattle area or I will ship Fedex insured to the US. Ok enough talking, here are the pics:
