Thoughts on this new AP

This model looks nice! Does the 42 wear similar to the 44? I called the boutique and they said they should start receiving them in September. I hope AP will release one similar in 44mm at SIHH. I like the ROO 44 Titanium. But I definitely love the red/black colors.

I saw the new indigo blue one in Vegas. So new ones are popping up. Like this one too. Super sporty

I may be the outlier but I prefer the previous generation design without the ceramic bezel

Who cares by the time these are released we will be a month or two away from SIHH. Fail.

I prefer the size over the 42mm, but the pushers look horrible IMO.

That's a great looking watch, and about time they brought ceramic bezels to the 42mm ROO chronos.

The 42 does wear noticeably smaller than a 44.

The finish on the ceramic appears to be different to the 44 ceramic in that it doesn’t look as though it’s a brushed finish.

The 42 offshore wears much smaller than the 44.

Some members that spoke to AP confirmed that final production models will have vertical brush lines like 44 models... I think ceramic Diver is the only 42mm AP with vertical brush treatment on ceramic bezel... all others have rainfall ceramic bezel...

That would be excellent news, it's probably a stretch to say that maybe one reason for their slight delay is that the forums called out the old style bezel at SIHH and maybe AP did a quick(ish) rethink.

The strap pics are disingenuous, looks like the usual rubber with nice red sides, but in reality it's shiny with a rough grimy texture.

I love the new watches with the ceramic bezels. I went from a 44mm but liked the fit of the 42mm better but couldn't handle the scratches and went back to a 44mm. Know I am contemplating going back to the 42mm just felt they were more balanced

I found it very stealthy, notwithstanding the Red trim on the rubber strap.................

From my experience, the 42mm wears significantly smaller than the 44mm.
Even with my 7.25” inch wrists, the 44mm still looks humongous and it doesn’t sit right. The 42mm however fits like butter!

Definitely looks good from these pics, would like to see it in person. Also to see how the proportions of the 42mm ROO fit, the 44mm models look far too large on me.
