Differences between ROO 26170TI and ROO 26470ST Elephant

Hello Everyone,

I'm trying to decide between the Elephant and the Elephant Ti.

Besides the obvious difference in weight, sheen (titanium being slightly darker/duller) and red-highlights on the Ti dial. Are there any other differences on the dial in terms of color, treatment etc? Or is the dial exactly the same?

Do they look the same? If given a choice - which one would you opt for?

Nope. I'm aware the that Ti might also have rubber pushers and crown but not too concerned about that either. For me the look is important, legibility and fit. I'm aware that the elephant is available on a grey strap while Ti is available on a Ti bracelet.

elephant no question. Its by far my favorite 42mm ROO chronograph. Current production or otherwise. I had the 44mm Ti and i did feel like the color of the titanium would be better suited to a watch without a grey dial. Great watch but its less contrasting than SS would be.

Thank you - that's exactly what I wanted to know. I want more contrast and am thinking that the Titanium would be too dull.

Thank you - that's exactly what I wanted to know. I want more contrast and am thinking that the Titanium would be too dull, inspite of the contrasting red splashes.

Yes I have and it's very intriguing. However I'm buying pre-owned and I don't think this one will be readily available at retail in most places, so pre-owned will take a while.

Indeed - but I don't think they will impact the overall look of the dial/watch. I am more interested in knowing if the Ti looks duller compared to the SS. This could be due to the dial or the lack of contrast between titanium and the grey within the dial.

The red accents make the dial pop a little bit more looking from close distance, but saw a few in person and I can say that Ti looks definitely warmer (or as you say duller) and less shinny than SS...
