I know people will disagree, but I think that looks great with he tux.

As for the OP's question I would take the 5164. Should work out great!

Looking good but the watch doesn't work with the rest IMO. Poor guy has to wear the Daytona as he gets paid big bucks from them...

5396g for sure. I have a ceramic Daytona too, but I don’t think it looks right with a tux.

The other two will let me wear a watch while flying, rehearsal dinner, and all the activities around the wedding. Any suggestions?

Thanks
5396 for sure. I don't understand "the other two will let me wear a watch while flying..."? The 5396 can be worn on a plane, I'm pretty sure. Sports watch with a tux is no for me personally unless that is the only option.

Well if you are the best player in the game and perhaps it's history, make 10's of millions each year and a worldwide celebrity it works. Not for everyone.

5396 of course - it is a dress watch - btw tuxedo and wedding are dress occasions - ha!

Traditionally, only a slim dress watch was recommended for black tie occasions but if you want an all around watch for the weekend, I'd go for the Daytona. A rubber strap is lowest on the formality scale imo

I think that looks great! I've also worn a Daytona with a suit/tux before.

OP, I would just wear whatever you are comfortable with regardless of what anybody suggests (myself included). In this day and age, you can make a lot of new and different styles work, it all comes down to your comfort level. Personally, I'd bring the two PP's if two watches, but the Daytona if only one. I'm not very traditional though. Just enjoy the wedding!

Don't wear a watch during the ceremony; it's considered a fashion faux pas. Why? It is your wedding, you shouldn't be concerned about the time. Concern yourself only on the moment. You have no need to flex on the altar.

After the nuptials, wear something on an alligator strap, preferably time only.

No offense, and you are not the only one, but why bother commenting w/o reading? OP said he will attend a friend's wedding.

Whoops, missed that update. Oh well - tux with a watch doesn't really work, much for the same reason. One need not be concerned about the time when wearing formal attire.

that being said, i'd totally wear a watch, and in this case, I'd go with Daytona.

Exactly this. The days of having to wear a certain style of watch in these circumstances are long gone.

Between the choices you listed:

If your Aquanaut is on rubber strap, wear the Daytona.
If your Aquanaut is on bracelet, wear the Aquanaut.

Take the 5396, this is what it was made for. Then take an extra calf strap to dress it down for the non-wedding events.

Everyone has their own style, which I like. To me, dressing up an aquanaut is very sprezzatura.

Uh, a lot of you guys are super, SUPER old school in your fashion "must" do or donts so to speak. The amount of people at a contemporary wedding who will care about your watch is about zero unless you were going to wear a really, REALLy colorful swatch or something that would clash against all the wedding photos and the bride is REALLY concerned about that (so leave the neon colors at home). Any of those watches are completely fine...wear the one you want to wear and have a good time.

Wear whatever you want :). Be bold! Don't care what others think and enjoy your own style. Most people aren't going to care all that much about your watch anyways. But any of the choices you listed are fine.
