Datejust 41- Real or fake?

Got a new watch from a watch store (not offical Rolex store) and I just wanna be 100% sure it’s real. Please let me know what you guys think. I’ve researched it and everything looks completely legit from the box to the forms that came with it. I just like the reassurance of your guys knowledge lol. Thanks!

We can't see that just by one picture...you need to show more, but at the end only a watchmaker and an open case will tell you everything

Step 1. Buy watch
Step 2. Ask if it looks real

Classic.

As mentioned above, you need to provide more pictures, but nothing immediately stands out to me from the one you posted.

The experts will chime in once this is moved to the correct section.

Well, we like pics here, so sure...but do understand that at the end opening up the case is the only way to make sure if it's real or not. The replica's now a days are hard to identify.

I think if you want others to help you authenticate the “hq” photos also include other portions of the watch. We need a shot of the rehaut, shot of the inside of clasp, underside of watch, shot of watch angled at camera. As someone said nowadays fake watches are good but are only identifiable upon up close visual inspection so that can only be done with HD photos not low quality. Also, there are plenty of franken watches out there which have real case but fake movement or fake bracelet so those are other risks you need to take. Alternatively, there exists fake watches with a Rolex movement that was thrown in. What did you pay? Who was the seller? Most times you buy the seller.

Assuming seller isn’t shady from the limited low quality photos it looks ok but again, see my post above. Nowadays if you put a fake and a real watch next to each other with a top photo shot, it can be hard to tell until you look very close. Some watches, like the datejust, have less tells than others like a GMT due to other features and movement characteristics the watches have, which are unique to them. The DJ with smooth bezel is simple compared to the GMT so the portions of the watch I mentioned are more important to identify.

I have the same watch with rhodium dial. Yours appears to be the black dial. We appreciate the pictures but the light condition is poor. Go to a window and use the natural light to take better pictures. Also take pictures from other angles of the watch.

What I can see from your pics is the the watch appears to be legit but more pictures is the best.

Thanks man! It’s night so can’t use daylight.
Here are some more pics at different angles and of different parts of the watch

To be honest I don't trust this kind of post...

1. I feel you want to ensure if you will be able to sell this fake watch

2. You want to see if your fake Rolex will past the eye of a watch enthusiasts on the streets

It looks pretty good from what I can see. I don't see any flaws.
The fact that you bought it from a legitimate watch store is reassuring.
Good looking watch. Enjoy.

It must be an older model. The new ones have a crown at the 6 where the 30 is and if the movement checks out than probably authentic. It is a 70 hour power reserve. I’m waiting for my fluted blue dial from denmanproject.

It looks good to me.

Regarding, the crown at 6 o'clock, my DJ41 was bought in June 2018, and it does not have the crown, it changed shortly after that, I believe.

Nice watch, love the Jubilee.

Crown at six o'clock? You mean the engraved one in the saffier? They already doing that since 2012 i believe and my DJ41 from 2018 also has one. Also my 2017 models.

No, sorry, I mean on the seconds index on the dial. Until about 2018 or so, it says "swiss made" on either side of the 30 second index. After 2018, the 30 is not there, but there is a crown between swiss and made.

I wasn't talking about the laser etched crown in the crystal.

Why ask after you've bought it?
You would have been wiser asking questions before you bought it.
