Watch just stopped
Hi all,
My deep sea sea dweller d-blue watch was in the safe for about three weeks. I took it out today put it on, and got carried away working on something. Realized I had not set the watch, it was working. I hacked the movement set time and date.... then nothing. It is just jammed. I rotated the date through 5 days or more, the hands through maybe 5 days wound up 40 times... nothing. Rolex said to bring it in. Does anyone have any idea without knocking the watch on how maybe to start it? It suspect something has come loose and jammed the movement. |

Thanks, it’s one of those posts where you know there are no good answers. I’ll take it to my AD who is closer than Rolex Toronto. They said the AD would send it in to them.
Thanks for comment though. |

Strange. When you shake it do you hear any noise.

No the watch is silent, it was when I put it on, when I wound it I shook it a bit, and nothing. I can only guess something has jammed in the gears and remains silent.
