Incoming...my grail..for now.

Hi everyone,

I've been a member here for a few years now and there have been quite a few watches I have added and flipped in my collection. It has never really felt complete to me.. I always had a sense that I wanted something else later. Being a chick, I'm not into Birkins ..but I am into my rollies. Today I finally felt that my collection is complete. I kinda went crazy for this month of February. I actually acquired 3 different pieces. First, I bought the black ss Daytona ceramic 116500. Second, I added a 1680/8 blue nipple dial. And today, I finally got my 1680/8 black nipple dial with the original bracelet...I love it. It literally gives me butterflies.

I have to thank so many great members on here that they know who they are.. but I thank them for all the great advice and guidance through this all.. it was bc of my watch buddies that I met on here that got me into vintage.. and finally I did it!

Thanks so much for everyone's great pics and advice as I've learned so much about watches here...

I apologize for the crappy pic taking.. it here goes..

Thanks guys!! It's still a little big on my wrist .. all the removable links have been taken out. But still too big. I also, even changed it on the clasp part.. I don't want to ruin it and take out permanent link out. Any suggestion?

I'm surprised how understated that black dial looks. I congratulate you, you have excellent taste!

What size is your wrist? Love that blue dial gold sub. Would like to see a wristie/OOTD style shot to see how/with what you would wear your explorer 1.

Outfit of the day, the instagram style shots ala watch_fashionista, who usually shows off how she has paired her watch, with outfit, purse and jewelry.
