AD Discount for ROO 44mm

I am thinking of buying my first AP. Very drawn to the ROO 44mm. I am in California and wondering what a reasonable discount would be for a new one from an AD. Thank you in advance.

Don't know about California, but here in Singapore, I got mine for a solid 20% off the 44 steel last year before the new models were introduced. I don't think there would be much room for negotiation if you're looking at the 2017 novelties.

Hi Chris, I ordered my very first AP as well from an AD in Connecticut recommended to me in this forum. I'll send you a PM. Still on order but great ordering experience.

the discount will be less than buying from David SW or other trusted sellers. If discount is the deciding factor for you that is really the best option.

A significant factor is likely to be which model you want. I suspect the the ceramic 44 will not be discounted. Since AP altered the dealer margins I've personally found discounts more difficult.

Hard to get a discount on the new 2017 models as been said. If you can buy from a TS here I certainly would.

Which model?

20 percent for a 26400 steel isn't very much of a great deal. I gotten one at 30 percent off bnib from a Grey dealer. So long it's from a AD it doesn't really matter much. Also getting a 26401 at 25 percent off from a local AD the reverse panda older 44mm rg

OP referred to AD, so I mentioned AD discount. And yes, they discount more on precious metal I believe? Even more so since 2017 model is out?

Just remember now that dealer margins are now 35% vs 40% as of August 1st discounts will be less.

how did i miss that... thanks.

Personally its fine for me as less discounts will help with the value retention of existing pieces. If you ever sell you either pay now or later and i would rather have more residual value than paying less up front.
