Out Old - In New (Camera)
Out with the Sony Alpha NEX-5N and picked up a new Sony A6300. My lenses for the other Sony NEX work on the new one. Looking forward to using it the next few weeks. The Wife is using the Sony RX100 IV and will have the point and shoot category covered!
Wanted to have the Sony FE 70-300mm F4.5-5.6 for my upcoming trip but ran out of time to get it.  We will likely be close enough that the 55-210mm 4.5-6.3 will work nicely. I know we have a lot of camera guys out there. Q: What are you shooting with these days?

My buddy just got the RX100 IV and he said that it's an awesome camera.
I have not owned a camera in a few years but I am looking st the new Fuji X100F. |

     Sent by Taptalk from my phone which rather annoyingly and randomly rotates my pictures the wrong way around whenever it takes a fancy. I am sure the damn things got a mind of its own. :-(

I use mostly a Nikon D700 or a D3x for studio shooting.
Nikon CoolPix S9900 for macro when I travel and a Sony RX100 IV for point and shot.

I have a Canon EOS M, got it dirty cheap a few years back. I am debating whether getting a DSLR next, stay with the EOS M ecosystem (eventually Canon will get serious) or get a Sony Mirrorless and be done with it...
The EOS M is frustrating on many levels but image quality is good and with the 22mm pancake you have a very portable and capable system. |

I transitioned to all Sony and now use a Sony A7 for rangefinder lenses, A7ii for my Sony and old SLR lenses, and an original RX100 for a pocket camera.

Nice Sony. I wanted to go mirrorless, but found a great deal on a gently used D3300 bundle. Couldn't pass it up. And coming from a Canon 7D, I'm actually enjoying it way more.

I'm all in on the Fuji system. Love them. These are all seriously low res shots (3mb wireless transferred JPEGs from the camera to iPad)
 GAS by j c, on FlickrThe RAW files are flexible and the full size JPEGs are good enough for printing large. Decent tele options  Untitled by j c, on FlickrMirrorless autofocus is catching up to DSLRs. 600MPH on a very smoky grey day? No problem.
