You are right in Pasadena, is there some reason you don't want to use LAWW?

As Dan pointed out Los Angeles Watch Works in Pasadena or LAWW. There is of course the Rolex Service Center in Beverly Hills although depending on the condition of your watch they may insist on replacing numerous parts. I have used Rolliworks for bracelet refurbishment and they did a good job but not for service but I have heard good things about them too. Phillip Ridley in Arizona, a great resource for vintage watch repairs. Phillip serviced my watch and did a great job. Do a search for those specific references and you can also see more recommendations.

LAWW is good but it seems like their prices have recently doubled.

Try Shant's Watch and Clock Repair on Holly Street, Pasadena, CA. Shant is very knowledgeable and does good work at reasonable prices.
