Icon7 Which AP from AD?

My AD has the new AP ROO ghost, and the new vampire in stock, any suggestion on which combo I should get ? Or if I should look for other colors? Should I go for ceramic or stainless, options are endless and I'm lost, note that I like them all :) I've seen the safari drop in price really hard compared to the other ones. What's the expected discount from AD on these watches? Please let me know what you think.

Make sure you get what you love and not what others say, otherwise you will be complaining of 'lack of wrist time' on your for sale post in a year.

Good luck getting a discount. 2 years ago you'd have gotten 25% but times have changed. I would go for the ghost or honestly hold out for the 44 line. 44 ti or 44ce.

Try on what they have in stock and for any others of interest find a reputable grey and try those on as well. Echoed plenty here but honestly buy what YOU truly love. Most likely no chance at a discount and unless you are trying to build an AD relationship, which takes a good six figures plus these days, just buy grey and save $5-10k min on most ROO, not to mention the tax savings.

Happy hunting.

Can you comment on your experience with grey pricing. Is the price usually take it or leave it or have you found there’s some flexibility with what they state? Cheers

If your wrist can handle it go for the 44mm Grey CE ROO

I love the 44, but my wrist is too small for it, and the AD is offering me the ghost for 25.5k out the door, not sure if it’s a good deal

Thats about as good of a deal as you will get IMO. If your wrist can't handle a 44mm, you like the monochrome look, and you can get them down to 25k out the door, I'd say do it!

Go for one of the new ceramics, think I prefer the red and black one.

The Vampire is also nice, however the black and red gives it a much sportier look IMO. The steel is also shinier/brighter than the titanium. The Vampire is flashier, the Ghost is more discreet, and thus I personally prefer the Ghost of the two (I wear a 44mm Ti for what its worth but also have a steel RO). For RO, I would suggest steel or precious metal. For ROO, I think titanium or ceramic is a better overall choice.
