Another data point. Dropped by the AP boutique in Singapore at the weekend and it was the first they had heard about the chrono being discontinued.

They stopped taking deposits for all 26331st models in Singapore...and when I asked the sales associate about getting on the waitlist for a ROC, I was told to wait and see what gets announced next year. Subtle hint?

I'm going to be collecting a blue 26331ST tomorrow afternoon.
In my convo with the boutique this morning the SA was very vague with regards to discontinuation. She neither denied or confirmed.

I asked my SA at the NYC boutique and was told that the 26331 will be available for 2020.

I asked the AD in Dubai and no one knew anything of a discontinuation, although they did admit that down the line its possible they would update the ROC to include the new in-house 4401, they just don't know when...

Am I the only one who thinks the new in-house chrono is going to be dropped in? With a big price increase?

The question is now that they are not participating in SIHH, when will the new models be announced?

I’m guessing the new one will be more expensive and will be harder to get pretty much any discount on.

I feel like the web site said "Not for purchase" for a short period of time, but now reflects the price again.

This post is from almost a year ago. There have been rumors about a refresh for quite some time, but nothing concrete for the near future from what I understand.

The only think holding me back from telling you go for it is this new model design. This one is limited but the next refresh may have these ring sub dials like the ceramic Daytona. It is different from a panda dial so if you like the rings you may want to wait. Although I still think the current panda rocks!!! |

The limited edition in white gold has a much more noticeable contrasting color between the rings and the centers of the sub dials. On the panda they’re both black and on the blue/black they’re all silver. It is a different look. |

That light blue model is very nice! The current line does have that lighter contrast reflective like rings but it is basically none existent on the Panda as it’s all black. Will be interesting to see if AP does update the roc line in anyway in the next few months. ( though the panda look is timeless...Just noticed Ari Gold on entourage is wearing the older model panda) |

The 26331 panda is really a classic and timeless look IMO. I think the proportion are spot on. If you feel the same jump in with both feet. You never know what’s around the corner and dimensions or dial may change but there might be an in-house movement. It could also turn out like the Hulk where everyone wants it more now that it’s discontinued.

It’s a beautiful watch. The dial and even the sub dials reflect light like crazy (despite being black)
