INCOMING.... Rose Gold Royal Oak Chronograph 26331OR
My newest addition, the 26331OR Royal Oak Chronograph with the chocolate brown tapisserie dial on a brown crocodile strap. I ordered the full rose gold bracelet from AP today (3 month backorder) so I will be able to go back and forth between the crocodile strap and full bracelet. The ROC is truly spectacular, its wrist presence alone with the chronograph pushers and contrasting subdials as opposed to the 15400 equivalent is significant. While the case sizes are the same, in my watch box next to my 15400 blue dial, the 15400 just appears smaller in stature. I absolutely love this piece and opted for the classic appearance of the chocolate brown dial that flows well with the rose gold case — it was actually the Patek 5711R in rose gold with a chocolate brown dial that drew me to love the chocolate-rose gold combination and to choose it over the blue; there is an inexplicable savoir faire about the chocolate-rose gold combination I just can’t articulate but can feel. I also already have a 15400ST blue dial and didn’t want another blue dial AP. I’ve acquired a good amount of watches over the past year and can honestly say that today, this is the one that I’m most excited about. It has a substantial heft to it, making it enjoyable to even hold in the palm of your hand before putting it on. After posting my incoming pics, I’ll be registering it for the extended 3 year AP warranty promotion; really glad AP is doing this. And without further ado, my brand new 26331OR ROC:

Thanks man, I was waiting for you to see it!!
I definitely want to get a rubber strap for it. Given it’s a chocolate brown dial I’m not sure what color rubber strap to go with. I don’t think black. Not sure if AP makes a dark brown rubber strap. |

Congrats my friend and excellent collection! The rose gold chrono especially with the bracelet is something special.
One watch away from going even bigger and offshore :) My Royal Oak says hi! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Gorgeous! For the offshore I’m planning to buy, I think I’m going to get a Survivor. On the fence about it versus another offshore though.

Does the rose gold chrono on the croc strap wear smaller than the 15400 in steel?

Survivor? Really? If you like a whole black ROO why not getting any 44mm ceramic version? They’re modern, open caseback, scratch resistant, better finishing, etc... |
