Incoming Grand Seiko sbgx291

This is a 2017 model with the new logo format on the dial. It replaced the sbgx091. I believe it's Japan domestic.

Movement is 9F quartz, accurate to 10 seconds per year. Seiko claims it should last 50 years before needing a service The battery is sealed from the movement, so it's easy to replace.

Relative to other GS quartz models, I love the beefier case, the lume, and the lack of a date. Case is 10.7 mm thick and approximately 39 mm in diameter.

Beautiful! The Angled lugs on this watch make it wear more like a 41mm to me. I loved it. It might be my next GS.

How is the lume on this model? That has always been my downfall on some of the dressier GS models/

I was pleasantly surprised by the lume. This photo was taken less than 30 minutes after opening the box
