Cool images. Antarctica is on my dive bucket list (right after Bikini Atoll).

Great read and pics. I must say not a fan of tight small spaces. Going through a 10 foot deep tight hole under the ice is beyond claustrophobic for me!

Awesome photos and article, thanks for sharing. NG always has the best underwater photos, IMHO. One day I would like to dive Antarctica with some Leopard seals.

Thanks for the pic.

But I do wonder why they expose themselves to these dangers when they have rov's that can do this?

Very good, thanks for posting. On a side note: I believe that Laurent Ballesta (the photographer) is sponsored by Blancpain

It's nice that they are pouring some of their profit into preservation and awareness of the marine environment

Thanks for posting! Antarctica has become a silly interest of mine lately, maybe some day I'd like to see it, I don't expect to ever be a proficient enough diver to dive there though!

Last time I checked, you need at least 50 recent dry suit dives and 20 recent cold water dives to be allowed in the water.

Why do people travel anywhere when we can see it all on tv?

Great post OP! Would love to dive there someday!
