Oris Aquis diver 46mm short review

I picked this up yesterday afternoon, for the price its quite well-made and workmanship throughout is very nice.

The small seconds at 9 makes the watch a bit different than its 43mm siblings.

For a 46mm ss dive watch, it does not feel/wear large at all, though its a bit on the heavy side.

500m WR, ceramic bezel insert, and orange markers make the dial fun to look at too. The Sellita movement is spot-on for the past 16hrs.

Simple yet practical diver's extension, solid caseback and the polished parts of the bracelet make the overall package look nice with casual or office attire.

Over here at the forum Oris is seldom seen/mentioned but if anyone is looking for a fair priced, well-put together diver, I recommend it. Granted the case design takes a bit of getting used to.

Being OCD about my watches, I can't find any issue with it so far.

Thanks for reading, fellas!

46mm is too big for me... but the dial is really sharp. Enjoy the watch.

Looks great, congrats!
I have a soft spot for Oris, having owned a few.

I think Oris are undeservedly underrated and exceptionally well made. Good choice.

46mm sounds big, but like you said, it wears very well. My first "nice" watch was an Oris at 44mm it was great (little bro has it now). There are other brands that are much smaller in diameter that I hate compared to the look and feel of a larger Oris.

They are a very underrated brand, and can be picked up at a nice discount. Though in recent years their prices have jumped a bit.
