How hard is it to get a gold Daytona?
Looking at the 126508 with black subdials.

Depends on the AD and their clientele but its a lot easier than a SS piece.

I was told by my AD that a PM Daytona is definitely easier to get vs SS. We'll see but I would think that is correct.

That's likely going to be the hottest and most difficult to get 126508 variant and probably the most desirable aside from the Le Mans.
But that being said, the line of people is a lot shorter than the 126500LN, so you'll probably not have a ton of issue getting it in, location dependent. |

... just got the '2023 older' one rose with baguette ... no wait, just happened to be at the dealer waiting for a customer ... did get the feel that there were some gold ones available (amongst others an oyster flex one) ... no steel in sight :-)

I waited 3 years to get my WG one with the blue dial. They just don’t get many in. I will say it’s a fabulous watch. Never thought I would get one.

When I got my WG Daytona it was the first like that that had come in in 3 years. They get steel Daytona’s in every month. In fact my husband got a steel Daytona in faster then I got the WG one. It’s just the demand is higher for steel.

I got 126505 sunburst dial this month after waiting for almost 2 years from the AD with whom I have a long relationship. Got offered the old reference in June which I declined, got the new reference 5 months later. So I think 2 years is a good estimate if you know the AD.

8-9 months for my *John Mayer* Daytona maybe two years for my DaytonaC but honestly it’s all pretty random really depends on the size of the dealership and your relationship with the guy(s) working there. With my secondary AD I am still waiting for a DaytonaC

i'm hoping to get the rose gold on oysterflex, myself, the one with the sundust dial and black subdials. i believe it's the 126515LN
My first choice WAS the 116515LN with baguette indices, but sadly, that one got discontinued |
