Opinions on 6239 parts

Hi folks I came across this 6239 case set, dial and hands for sale on the bay. I’m fairly new to vintage Daytonas but the set looks good to me. For educational purposes are there any Daytona experts here that can chime in with any other observations?
Thx

A Paul Newman on eBay, surely the joke thread of the day.

Hey gooch it seems you have chosen your handle wisely. Well done sir! It is no doubt not the place to buy a prestige watch. Can you add anything based on the pictures and not a gut feel?

If it’s genuine it’s worth £200-£300k, what do you think?

If you’re serious and this isn’t a wind up, please buy from a reputable dealer, you are going get burnt. There’s nothing right about that watch, it’s a very poorly executed fake.

I don't have the capital to enter the market on a 6239 today but I want to learn. If I'm parting with those funds trust me I'd do my due diligence to reduce risks. For now I was hoping to understand what to look for. What are the biggest tells for you? I can see the markers are out of place, is there anything else?

I can see some of the markers are slightly out of place but I see the same on several other 50 year old watches.
We don’t discuss fakes here I’m afraid. As a pointer I’d be looking for a case that wasn’t made last week or possibly the week before. Unfortunately there’s no short cut to research, it will take years to be comfortable buying a vintage Daytona from anyone but a trusted dealer.

Obvious fake. Multiple tells.

OP, all you'd need to do is find a photo of a genuine 6239 PN online and compare. You wouldn't need to dig deep to see the problems.

Ya know, if I was going to peddle a fake 6239, I'd at least have the decency to align the bezel properly.
