Opinions wanted...

I was a Brietling fan many years ago before they became so, umm, shall we say, blingy.

However, I have become rather enamored of this new model, a Chronomat 44 GMT which has the new in-house chromo movement and GMT in a nice 44mm size. It is still a little shiny for my taste but the bezel is brushed which tones it down a bit.

My other concern is that the resale of these modes seems very poor (I am a bit of a flipper). Anyway, just interested in general opinions on this model. Wrist shot from earlier today. Thanks!

good looking watch but you'll still likely have poor resale, if its a keeper then go for it, but if you have doubts.... maybe hold out for something else.

I like the watch, but if you are a flipper of sorts, wait and pick up a pre-owned for a good price. Downside risk is then mitigated.

Nice watch; definitely has the standard Breitling "bling factor", IMHO. Maybe best to wait for one on the preowned market but...I know how it is to need it now!

Good luck!

Thanks, folks. I am likely going to restrain myself. Praying for a new ceramic bezel daytona in 3 months.

not usually a fan of this model but I like this variation with the graphite dial. I say go for it if you like it but if you buy with the intention of selling, find it second hand
