Do you own a Zenith Watch

I have seen an El Primero Chronomaster I have the hots for. It is priced at £3000.00 is the zenith watch worth buying in general terms? Obviously you can't comment on this one without seeing it.
Thanks

Yep. Nothing wrong with Zenith brand, they make great watches even though they're probably more famous for their movements. Can't fault their workmanship nor their designs. Best still is there's no crazy price premiums unlike some other Swiss brands.

Do your research and find the right model. Then look at the market on Chrono24 and see where the price should be. On certain models the TS will not touch them on a trade. I would not be in the market unless on a NIB discount was approaching 30% and any pre-owned model should be less than 50% off of retail. If you buy it, you own it. I don't see an easy flip out.

Second that. I made a few enquiries with dealers on behalf of one my wife’s friends for a Zenith blue primero and had zero interest from any of the folks I contacted.

If you buy one, you better love it!

My brother bought a Zenith about 4yr ago. It's his favorite watch. Can't say I ever see him without it on. They are a good solid watch.

I own two. Love them both. But you will take a bath if you pay anywhere close to MSRP and decide to flip it later.

I appreciate the brand and the heritage but the overlapping subdials and multi colored sub dials are not for me.

If i was more into the aesthetic I would get one in a second as they are very nice watches.

I'm definitely gonna get a Zenith as my next watch. The new oscillator is one hell of a piece of art and I can't wait till they implement it into their regular production;)

I have got a Zenith and it's my favorite watch brand right after Rolex. I don't have El Primero though

Spent nearly a year looking at mine before I pressed the button. Absolutely love it and I like the slight quirky nature of Zenith.

i have a zenith striking 10th. very beautiful watch even better movement. the 36000vph makes it super accurate.

zenith has a great of history. i think their version of being the 1st mechanical chrono has some weight in it.

but their current designs right now veered far away from their history

Have you guys had any persistent reliability issues with Zenith?

I had to send one of mine in for a power reserve issue, but that’s it. Zero issues with the chronograph function or accuracy.

Used to own an El Primero Flyback. Great watch, excellent movement with the only small drawback of a not so great power reserve, due to the 5Hz movement.
