It's funny you mention this. I JUST purchased the white/black American Documents Timex watch, even though I own the Rolex Explorer MKII which I wear 24/7. This watch called out to me for some reason.

I got mine second hand for $150 and more than happy at that price. As long as you don’t expect Rolex quality at Timex prices you’re good!

The Rolex? Or the Timex? Because as much as I love my Rolex, they are the most over priced watch for what you buy on the market, lol!

It’s actually a great, classic, almost mid-century design. Nice to see a Timex making “real” watches again.

BTW, I have the Timex Q with the Pepsi bezel and I love that watch. It wears so well and they really nailed the color and the vintage vibe. That watch piqued my interest in Pepsi bezels and ultimately led me to the Tudor GMT.

So YES. All watches have their place in your collection.

For pictures, I prefer the Rolex.

For my bank statement, I prefer the Timex. It's just a fun watch.

I found an eBay pic of a Lorus watch I wore in highschool. I'd love to have it now. I'm finding that happy dials make me smile. I'm liking more and more bright colors and enamels and fun stuff. I could only see adding another crown if a white Explorer shows up as a new release.

The new M79 automatic looks cool but unfortunately there are a lot of reports of QC issues. Too bad.

That Timex is great but the bracelet is an arm hair monster.
