Hello all
New here, been other places awhile, I have decided to slim down my collection and was offered a DJ 16013 in a trade. I’m normally not into two tone but this is a beautiful example with a champagne Buckley dial and black hands. I figured why not, if I don’t like it it won’t be hard to move.
I have found myself liking it more and more and while eventually I feel I may trade it toward another Rolex, I find it a really versatile watch, I wear some rings and it matches with gold or WG, the 18k tarnished bezel has an awesome red color I haven’t seen before, bracelet stretch is minimal and fits me exactly right. I tried for years to stay away from Rolex, “everyone has them” and I like being different, turns out you can be somewhat, all it takes is the right dial to fall in love with a watch you would never consider before. May send it off to get the bracelet tightened up if I keep daily wearing it. Great forum! Jesse |
