Anyone else not get on with OysterFlex

I’m lucky enough to have a few OysterFlex sizes that means I can fit them to just about any model I have. However, I really don’t find it that comfortable and prefer a NATO when the watch is off the bracelet.

I am interested in anyone else’s view if they have OysterFlex or rubber v the bracelet.

I find the OF very comfortable if it fits perfectly and very unforgiving if not exactly sitting on the right spot due to sizing or shape of the wrist.

I had the WG Daytona on OF and it was ok but I find the Oyster bracelet more comfy. One of the reasons why I moved on from it.

Once I got the 116655 sizes properly it’s great. I wouldn’t want to wear it every day though.

I posted this on another thread today. I got my Daytona last November, put it on Oysterflex a few weeks in, and haven't taken it off since. I find that it makes the "classic" sized watch even more light and comfortable and adds a touch of sportyness.
My beefs are that RolexUSA makes it so difficult to get it, and that the pieces' fit is very limited in adjustment. I had to swap one side to get the ideal fit. Oh, and the cost is silly expensive just because it's Rolex.

PP rubber on the Aquanaut is better comfort wise to me. Don't care for the metal ears and the clasp on the rolex.

Looks great. Too bad Rolex doesn’t offer it as an option

They should include them with every sport model! I haven't seen a sport model that did not look good with an OF, and the OP's BB58 is another one that looks great!

I've owned 3 daytonas-- both 116500's on bracelet, and the RG on OF, and after wearing the RG for a couple of months, I was surprised by how much I didn't like the OF. I found myself constantly fooling with the watch when it was humid/hot, trying to make it feel more comfortable. It felt great when I tried it on in the store on 3-4 occasions, but in 'real world' wear, it just didn't do it for me.

I also prefer the bracelet to the OF.

I wear the OF on my 116519 and love it. Very, very comfortable. However, getting the sizing right can be tricky. You need it just snug enough without the easy link extended, so that when it does get hot/muggy that extending the easy link works well. In other words, it needs a bit of fine-tuning to get right. The three clasp holes help a lot with precise adjustment, of course.

I have the WG Daytona Oysterflex. I find it comfortable to wear with no issues. Am looking to alternate it with the leather equivalent simply for a change.
