Pam 111 or Bell & Ross

Hello everyone I have a bell and Ross 01-93 GMT and I love my watch I think it's beautiful, but lately I've had this itch to pick up a new watch. Since I got the b&r in march of this year I didn't want to spend a few grand on another watch. So my question is should I sell my b&r and pick up the Pam 111 or keep the b&r and maybe pick up the Pam next year

I would keep the B&R and save up for the PAM111. The resale value on the B&R are not that great.

+1
if you have no love for B&R, sell it for PAM.

I sold my BR03 and bought a PAM 312 and couldn't be happier. Not exactly an even trade, though.

The 111 walks all over B&R, I have never been a B&R fan.

Really depends on how bad that itch is. If you're concerned about whether or not the 111 is a good buy or not in the PAM range - well, I wouldn't worry. Many consider the 111 one of the best PAM have to offer. Good luck.

You guys have been really helpful, I think im going to have to pick up the pam 111 asap, I just l love that sandwich dial.

One more question to throw out there, the Pam 111 or Sub 116610LN. I would keep the B&R and get the 111, but in order to offset the price of the Rolex i would def need to flip the B&R even if i have to take a hit on.

If you guys have an idea of what you think I would get for the B&R can you please PM me. Watch was bought from an AD, but its not in mint condition the PVD has rubbed off on the edges (which was a real disappointment).

Sounds like you like the B&R, so don't get rid of it.

I'd keep the Bell&Ross.

It avoids me having to think about what I'd do if I saw it in the FS section so readily.

I was a fan of Bell & Ross until I had owned one for a few months. It just stopped getting any sort of wrist time after the 'newness' wore off. I'd go to wear it, but then see my PAM or Rolex sitting there and just couldn't do it. I put it up on the FS section and was luckily enough to have someone trade me a PAM187 Radiomir for it. I haven't thought about the B&R since.

I'd definitely trade it for a Panerai.

I have never owned a B&R but have tried them on a few times. I have owned a PAM 111 and a 183 and my advice is.. stick with the Bell and Ross Personally as you have more of a watch.

If - as you say - you love the B&R, keep it and save for the 111

Very different watches, of course

What did you have in mind? the 312 makes me drool...

Ive been hearing really bad stories about Pams in house movements and how they constantly break down, and the repair time is months for a turn around. That scares me a little...
