Icon5 Broken Calibre 59

I'm looking at buying a 1946 Tudor Oyster with calibre 59 movement. However, the following problems are listed:

MAINSPRING SLIPPING
BALANCE STAFF BROKEN
CROWN DOES NOT SCREW DOWN

Is this going to be difficult to get fixed, or not too much of an issue?

thanks in advance,
Adam

I don't know about availability of the particular mainspring, it will probably need a new one + barrel,
A good watchmaker can make a new balance staff on the lathe so that shouldn't be too much of a problem. (I still haven't learned this yet, it's probably easier said than done).

I don't know much about crown/case problems yet so I can't help you with that, could just be a worn out thread in the crown or case.

So the mainspring should have these dimentions

Mainspring, 1.70 x .095 x 340 x 9.5

And the balance staff is part Nr 723.

Balance staff may be the only problem. Everything else I would say is obtainable, but as bas said a good watchmaker could make one.
