Current dream collection, what's yours?

This is my current target, PM, sports, different functions, brands, for me it has a bit of everything and is what I'm currently working towards. Your opinions would be appreciated, and what are you working towards?

Love them all but note the conspicuous absence of a "dive watch."

I'd have a Patek as well and lose one of the SS Rolexes, the BLNR. I have sports PP, an AP, a PM Rolex and some SS, including that D500, so pretty happy with where I am.

I think a 5712 would round out the collection nicely.

Nice targets to shoot at & looks great as it stands- once you add a dive watch. (May I suggest a Sub or Sub w/date?)

If you are looking for suggestions... could consider a FP Journe Chronometre Bleu instead of the Blue AP 15202 (unless you must have an AP) as your blue watch (+ you already have two other SS sports watches there- three if you add a Sub/dive watch). Also could consider either a high complication (maybe w/a moon-phase) ALS or Patek instead of the 1815.

I have very humble aspirations.

I have a Submariner 114060.

I plan on getting a blue dial Datejust, with lume indices, fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. Hopefully early next year. Waiting for bonus.

Several years out, I’d like a white dial Daytona.

That’s it. I’d be very happy with those three.

Now if things are going very well for me down the road, then DayDate, 40mm, yellow gold, President bracelet, black motif dial.

Some really interesting target collections and great advice for my own.

Just to add, regarding the lack of dive watch and getting rid of the BLNR. The BLNR is very special to me, it was my first Rolex and I hope to never sell it. Furthermore I almost feel it’s a unicorn watch. The oyster bracelet and 100m water resistance means any swimming etc I was to do I feel comfortable wearing it (I never go anywhere near 100m). With the GMT function and water resistance it’s also the perfect holiday watch.

The lack of PP does concern me. Very controversial comment, but if I was to go PP I think I would want a Conplication and stay away from the Nautilus as currently I don’t like the hype around the watch. A perpetual or annual Callander in place of the 1815 would be nice, but like I previously said, I do love the simplicity of the 1815.

My objective is to always focus on iconic models of each brand and feel I have a fairly perfect collection at the moment although certain additions are necessary. Current collection consists of:

1) Patel Philippe 5146G Annual Calendar
2) AP 15202ST Jumbo
3) Vacheron Constantin Patrimony 81180 (white gold)
4) Rolex GMT Master II Pepsi (16710)
5) 1968 Omega Speedmaster Professional transitional
6) Rolex 114060 Submariner Ceramic

What I think needs to be added are:

1) A. Lange & Sohne - Lange 1 Rose Gold
2) Rolex Daytona ceramic Panda
3) Piatek Philippe Nautilus - I would go either 5712 or 5711 (white dual)
4) JLC Tribute Moon
5) Piatek Philippe Gondolo 5124G
6) Tag Heuer Monaco Caliber 11

This would be my ultimate collection.

If you don't want a sports PP but an AC then I'd stick with the Lange or upgrade it to a Lange 1 or the 1815 chrono if possible. I prefer these to the AC and PC of Patek's dress pieces.

For me a nice collection would be:

FP J Chrono Bleu
Blancpain perpetual calendar
PP 5212
ALS Lange 1 Daymatic Blue dial
Daytona Zenith

I think I will be fine with these watches.
