101x in WG - ever made?
Title says it all frankly. Wearing my YG 1012 today and loving it, I wonder whether there were 18K WG 36mm Oysters made during that era, I mean four-digit references with the exception of the 1601/9 and 1803/9 (I have the latter, not looking for the former knowing how much they cost!)
Additionally, were there ever 1675/9 or 1680/9 models? I can't find any evidence of such watches online, but figured someone here might know! |

Both the 1675 and 1680 were made in yellow gold. But of course they are 40mm.
Don’t recall a WG OP in 36mm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

There was a prototype WG 1680...it was auctioned by Christie's in 2017.

Hope it's never sent to Rolex for service...they will reject it as having never been made by Rolex, hell the crystal doesn't even have the crown etched at 6 o'clock

That's hideous! I love it! I could walk right by that at a flea market and assume it was not only fake, but a poor fake. It looks like a Rolex knock-off of a Tudor, shares some features with one of the Tudors, whose designation I can't recall.
