Questions about "Pre-Owned" Pres?

I was downtown (Philadelphia) yesterday on Jewlers row...still looking. Anyway I came across a Pres DD, dia dial (118238)...exactly what I'm looking for. The only problem I had with it is that the face is to dark. I want the light Champaign dial.
Anyway, I have 2 questions... its listed as a 2003, but serial # is "P" which is the 2000 model. Papers show that it was bought new in 2003. How should this be priced?
Second question is about the screw in link on the left of the pic. The screw head is a good 1/16" or morebelow the surface, whereas the others are pretty much flush. What would cause this?

1) Price should be about US $ 16,000
2) I guess the one screw was just screwed too far in

The TT datejust I bought was said to be a 2000 because it was sold new at an AD in 2000, but it was a 1999 production. I would assume that the price should be less for a 2000 vs a 2003. AS for the screw, that would bother me some. It could be possible that they added an aftermarket link? Also, $19K would be the TOPS I would pay for sure. I would try for the $17K range.

Thanks guys. The screw bothers me to. I don't know how this deal will pan out, but if I do end up buying this one, I'm sure he would replace the screw or link...whatever is causing the problem. There closed today, but open back up on Friday. I am going to see if he can get the same dial in a "Light" Champaign color because the darker shade of gold doesn't do it for me.
