Incoming - Submersible looking for strap

After years of googling and oogling over this i finally pulled the trigger today.. so happy with it.

I actually told my wife, had i known it looked this good in person, i would have bought it sooner!

I really want to put it on this strap from PAM but looks like its out..

anyone know where I can source one?

Panerai seems to be out of a lot of rubber straps and colors and I haven’t found any other sources except for severely marked up ones on eBay. Panerai’s inventory dried up about a month ago so I’m hoping replenished stock will arrive soon. I have my sights on green and orange. You may just need to wait it out.

Beautiful watch, congrats!

Get on the web and look at Authorized dealers in your area and then get on the phone. If that does not work then start to spread out a little and look to the Boutiques. I believe that you will find one very quickly with a little effort.

Try calling a Panerai service center like the one in NYC or Dallas directly. They were easily able to source me what I thought was a discontinued "Ranger" strap. The website is not entirely accurate when it comes to sizes and inventory. The service center in Dallas was outstanding in their customer service and knew exactly what to send me size-wise.

thanks guys..

strap looks good on that one!

One of the things i like most (next to the looks of the PAM's ) is their versatility when it comes to straps.

SIDE NOTE

when sourcing a strap, does deployant vs tang matter?

I currently have a deployant on, the straps dont come with any hardware, but are the holes/mounting the same? Looks like it from what I can tell

Congratulations! Great new watch Yes, like Laszlo said, they are pretty dry now. But now the fun starts, searching new great straps! Enjoy your trip

If you have a deployant, you need a deployant strap unless you want to buy a tang strap and a tang buckle.

In other words, a tang strap will not work on a deployant buckle.

*edit*

I just read what the difference was with a quick google search

"If you use the OEM (Panerai) deployant, you'll need to buy a strap that's specifically designed for use with the deployant (regular straps as well as aftermarket straps are too thick to fit through the slot in the deployant buckle). The OEM deployant straps are thinner at the buckle end to accommodate the deployant"

tang it is!
