979 Incoming

Hi from a new, old member reacquainting myself with the brand. Lockdown got me back into these lovely pieces, and hot on the heels of a 1055 bought from the E-Boutique, is this factory fresh baby currently with my AD and due to arrive next week. I cannot wait.
Needless to say, it is good to be back!

Welcome back! You sure do know how to make an entrance.

Congrats!

Thanks. I have always been one to jump in with both feet. PAMs are so addictive, which does not help (that may be why I have also ordered a 1314 for late summer!). Cheers.

I have had the 979 for about a month and love it! So light I forget I have it on. It’s made it impossible to wear other watches because they feel uncomfortable and fragile.

Great find. The Carbotech is a “game changer” for a luxury watch you actually want to wear and use in comfort and durability. You can tell wear the money is in these watches.

Side by side pic courtesy of my AD. The watch is now in FedEx’s (hopefully) careful hands.

Great pic. I have a light blue, and an olive green too. The watch is a true blank canvas.
