Looked and fit recently this exact modelat @ my AD, but to heavy for me.
And I do not like the rubber in the lunette. For dial I prefer this black one. I bought there the Avenger that day.....

I like it! i almost bought one a few weeks ago. I'm a diver, and I love to use my watches for backup during a dive. I find the black numbers on the bezel much easier to read under water than the etched numbers on most of Breitling's bezels. I also love the brushed surfaces... it has very much a "tool watch" look to it.
Some people have said that it doesn't have the classic "Breitling" look, as there are no rider tabs, etc. I don't mind the variation. I have a SuperOcean Chrono II, with the rubber bezel, and I would love for it to have the lume on the dive pip like this one has... how could they leave it off, I'll never understand. Some people also complain that the rubber on the bezel may be less rugged... I have a couple of Breitlings with the rubberized bezel and I've never had one show a single mark. Many companies use rubber on their watches with no real concern... I have a JLC Master Compressor Diver Chrono with rubber on the crown and chrono pushers, and likewise the previous version ROC. Anyway, the rubber is plenty durable... certainly more durable than paint. It's a great watch! I think you should get it!! :) Cheers Ross |
