Better to get a 0% card depending on how much/how long you need to pay it off? |

Yep. You will definitely struggle with 0% anywhere these days on an SS model especially. Like wb55 says best to get 0% card for purchases or balance transfers.
If that doesn't work ask Wb55 to lend you some cash, he has just come into some :-) |

I can see the pull of getting nearly 50% interest on you investment within a few days, but I just couldn't imagine doing that to my AD. I know it's all business but I would feel like I had just shafted a friend doing it.
Don't get me wrong I am not big drinking buddies with my AD but he is a nice guy and always looked after me in the past....I just couldn't do it. Not slagging anyone off, I just personally would feel guilty. |

I told my AD about the offers id had for mine, and I've assured them that I won't sell it.. They moved me up the Daytona list as a thank you :) 🙏

I know what you mean. 90% of me feels terrible and like a total dick for doing it but 10% of me thinks a lot more people than would admit would have sold it but maybe not be as forthcoming about doing the deal. That is probably my way of trying to justify it but I do agree, it's a shitty thing to do but almost £4.5k is a huge amount of money and I just couldn't say no. Didn't buy it to sell it but did end up selling about a week after buying. Same end result I guess. |

As I said wb55 I'm not judging you, because for those of us who have to scrimp and save to buy our timepieces nearly £4.5k is a big chunk of money that you can do a lot with. Especially when someone is their actuallly offering the money to you. It's a massive decision to have to make.
AK797, whilst I agree with you that it is Rolex who are throwing fuel on the fire of the grey dealer market for all of their other in demand pieces by restricting them, in the SD43 case it's a new watch so initial demand will always outstrip supply. Only time will tell if Rolex let this model go the same way as the DaytonaC and the Dblue. If they do then Rolex have again created a scenario where people like wb55 will be tempted to sell on because of the cash incentive and who can blame them. It would be debatable who actually made the most money out of that watch Rolex or wb55 !! |

I'd say every AD in the UK has these models. Models of interest are more SS Subs, SS GMT, Hulk, BLNR, D-Blue etc. |
