Diamonds

Hey guys I have a 36mm TT datejust and I’m having an after market diamond bezel made for it. I need your guys opinion on the size of diamond to choose. I can go with either 6 cent, 4 or 3 cent. I just feel 6 cent would look too gawdy on my watch but 4 cent might be too small. Confused :)

Honestly? I'd leave it be if that was my watch (which it isn't). It really doesn't need any more diamonds.

Can you ask someone to do a photoshop mock up for you or something? At least that'll give you a better perspective than a bunch of opinions.

You should consider diamonds on the bracelet too ! I think it would complete the ensemble.

This is a really good idea. It’ll give you an accurate sense of how it will look and how balanced the final result will be...in the end, though, do what makes you happy with your amazing watch. The best answer: the only answer that matters is what makes you happy.

Wow, some folks on here hate diamonds. (and are quick to call a fake)
Soapbox for a moment. This may be hard for some folks to believe but there are some Rolex fans out there who love a diamond DJ and wouldnt spend ten bucks on a green sub.

To the OP, I like diamonds but I HATE aftermarket ANYTHING on a Rolex.

In his other thread yes but in this thread the pic looks all wrong.

I didn't get the connection until Adam pointed out his other thread.

Fixed it for you. No way you intended to say people who like diamonds are low class, right?

Ok - I will be the one to say it... STICKERS MUST GO BEFORE ANY MOD! But as for the question - do as you fancy with your watch but as others have said if you are seriously considering D / IF stones (in any size) I think you may be in for some sticker shock taking into account labor and creating the bezel you want.

I would remove the stickers first.
