Trading in a subc date for Blnr in hand

How much should I add for a new blnr? The subc date is less than a month old.

Seems like you're looking at around $1500 with the way things are going now.

He’s asking 2k. But I think I’m ok with the deal because I got mine for 7600 from the dealer and they charged me no taxes. Just trying to get some feedback

If the BLNR is in hand now, and you need to move the sub, you may not be able to wait for a sale but need to do a trade. Either get the sub listed ASAP and/or wait for a BLNR, or bite the bullet on the trade and possibly lose some of what you would otherwise have gotten on a private sale. $ range really depends on the AD and possibly area demand.

I think 2k is too much for you to add.

TBH, I wouldn't...you'll probably end up with both anyway, and the way things are now I wouldn't be letting go of anything steel. Just my two cents.

I agree

Add if at all possible. I think you’ll miss the Sub

Brand new. And mine is less than a month old. But I got it for 7600 with the discount and no taxes. And it’s in hand so that’s why I’m thinking it’s a fair deal.

It’s with a trusted seller that I’ve done business with before in the past.

If you love the watch, go for it. Just make sure this is the watch you truly likes.

Make sure YOU love the watch... I have a BLNR and I love it, so I'd do the trade. I'd try to negotiate a bit first

I would do it for 1.5k but not higher. Unless I really really loved the BLNR.

Oh, I love it. I had it last year, but had to sell it. Now, I have the opportunity to own it again.

Just curious, why did you get the sub instead of waiting for the BLNR?

I was honestly impatient. Had no clue when the bnlr or a hulk would arrive at the AD. I said to myself I would get this for now and for my 35th bday next March, I’ll get something more exclusive

Sounds like you want the BLNR, and the added cash is +/- small. I'd try to squeeze a little more but get the BLNR on your wrist when it's all said and done.

If I remember correctly, he posted a thread asking if he should go for LN w/ discount or wait for LVc. I have a feeling he'll flip the BLNR for a LVc once that becomes available.

I did want a hulk. But at that time, I couldn’t get one in hand. Even right now there’s none available at my AD

Oh geez..... In that case, I say don't trade. Just wait for the hulk. Or you will lose another two grand when you do find one.

Seems ok to me the trade, I love my BLNR and genuinely find the movement very useful. More so than a divers watch as my dip in the sea to waist does not kinda warrant such a water proof rating. BLNR all the way for me, although push for $1500 :)
