Quasi macro Pelikan
I'm trying, trying, to fix in pictures the difference between a standard Fine Pelikan nib and a Pelikan Fine modified to stub by Mr. Mottishaw. The blue and silver pen has the modified nib, the gold and black (actually green) has the standard nib which is very smooth. I hope this means something to somebody.

Fine nib modified to a stub?? That must be a pretty narrow line width. Interesting.

It's pretty cool, believe it or not. And smooth. Being a Pelikan the nib is wide enough to provide a nice line with subtle variation. I've submitted a sample before, so I won't use up any more bandwidth. I like it.
