Very nice. Will the one you get be the old style #3776 as shown or the newer Century #3776?

I do have this same pen in a Nakaya with a medium italic and it is a fantastic writer.

Can't wait to get this one.

Beautiful pen but what a waste of a perfectly good piece of pipe wood!! Lol. I don't smoke so I would prefer the pen myself but couldn't resist. It is a stunning pen though!

Wood urushi...? Would you please explain...? Is the urushi over the wood or is it the other way around...?

Urushi over wood. Actually probably the most common use of urushi in everything from bento boxes and bowls to buildings and statues.
