Jubilee Band Question for 16710

Gents,

I have a "D" Serial GMT II with Black bezel. Although the original oyster bracelet is great, I've seen a few with the jubilee band.

Can someone please educate me on the required jubilee band (model, etc). Also, what is the deal with the "end" pieces?

Thank you !

If you get the Super Jubilee bracelet, then all you need are 1.8mm springbars which normally go with the DJ. The GMT normally has 2.0mm springbars.

Edward,

Not sure were to get them but you'll want 502T end pieces for the classic jubilee with a case without lug holes.

And if going for the traditional 62510H Jubilee, make sure that the last link closest to the case is marked '50' to allow for 2mm thick lug pins. If it is not marked '50' it is for 1.8mm lug pins.

Good luck!

Best,

A

1.8mm pins are too small and will rattle around in the holes in the case, eventually making the lug holes odd shaped.

The 1.8mm springbars are the only way it will work. I haven't heard any rattling around.

A jubilee changed the wrist time 100% on my 16710, my GMT has a 62510H with 555B end links, total cost used $750, after much shopping and several offers...

BTW, super jubilee's are much harder and more expensive than a regular jubilee...

Never been an issue for me and I've worn a super jubilee on my GMT since 2009.
