Current lineup... Looking forward to opening the Glenfarclas 21 yo, and the Lagavulin Distillers edition. Haven't had that one since visiting the distillery on Islay last year.

The Black is pretty impressive! The Comm Release is in my top 5!

You’re gonna love that Lagavulin distillers edition. That is one of my favorites this year along with the Blaaack and the discontinued Old Pulteney 17.

Yes the Blaaack is fantastic, I was gifted this bottle. If it's empty then that's it, the €300 a bottle they're asking now over here is out of my comfort zone for a single bottle.

I have to say, the Arran sherry cask is a very nice whisky, and affordable too, only€35 a bottle here.

Great sherry notes but not too overpowering, nice and fruity and packs a punch at 55.8% abv. Will definitely explore more of their stuff.

The wee Beastie...

Not as wild as I expected. It is actually quite fruity and smooth, slightly sweet and a hint of acidity, not as peaty as you might think.
A wee drop of still water completely tames the beastie and sort of gives you the idea it is much older than 5 years..

At less than €40 a bottle it is definitely good value and just a little different than your regular Ardbeg 10 or Laphroaig 10.

Finally able to get my hands on a bottle of unpeated Bruichladdich. This could quickly become one of my favorites.

I love the regular peat monster. I haven’t seen the Arcana here yet. Can’t wait for your feedback. Cheers!

I turned 2020 Black Friday into something a little different this year. The theme for this year's holiday gifting is "BOURBON!"

Knowing full well that I'd be tempted to sample some, I was sure to buy a couple of extra bottles just for me.

'Tis The Season!

I am curious to see what happens. I went to the liquor store the other day and found out that the special allocations from the distributor will be arriving on Wednesday... these are the special bottles that are in demand...

The store lottery will then occur. We'll see if I get drawn for anything good. Wish me luck.

For a cask strength is pretty smooth and well balance with a very(very) slight burn(pleasant)! Cant go wrong with the price as well!
