I picked up a couple of Hodinkee LE before but would pass on this one - manual wind, small dial size for my wrist, etc. likely why it has not sold out yet. Best.

I am going back and forth on it myself. Dial size is fine for my wrist, just not sure about the brand and $500 seems a bit steep to just have the HODINKEE logo on the watch and being a limited edition.

The Hodinkee Q was a homerun, the Merci is cool but not $500 cool

I thought about it... have been into small watches lately and think this one is well-executed but I think I would get bored quickly with it

Agreed on the Timex x HODINKEE and only $10 more then the Q Timex reissue. If the Merci was priced at say $300 it probably would be another home run for them

The brand sells 01 at $269 MSRP and is likely selling preowned at half of that.
Cant see paying $500 for an “H” added to the dial. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I was excited when I heard about it, as I was expecting it to be around $300. But at $500, this one was fairly easy to pass on. |

They're really cranking 'em out, aren't they? I think we've passed the point where Hodinkee are no longer anything more than a glorified store-front....

That's what I thought then found out that the $269 is quartz , and $500 is mechanical ETA movement.

It’s on the smaller side, but like the applied numerals
Their self branded is not; so I like the H version better, but i would have preferred it not be dual branded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I bought it. Right size, unique color palate for a field watch and kinda cheap.

Very nice!
The raised numbers give a nice depth, I like the hands are they black or blue? Congrats! |

Will pass at this. Time. Nothing wrong with Hodinkee or Merci on the surface. The watch does not speak to me though.

I would rather have the regular white or black dial (mechanical) over the Hodinkee version. Edit: Actually after looking at it some more, I would consider it (the H version) if I wanted another field watch. |

I still really like the OG Merci. I'm not sold on the "Hodinkee" branding on the dial as well as the "H", but otherwise the color and blue hands are nice.

May pick it up, relatively speaking short money and would go with my other field watch the Rolex Explorer. The ones on Ebay are going for stupid money at this point.

I like it. The raised numerals look great.
