Desk Clocks Anyone?

I saw this Shinola desk clock at a local AD. It looks real sharp but it’s quartz.

Any others feel the desire for a mechanical desk clock or have nice one to share?

Desk Clocks Anyone?

I too wanted a desk clock to place next to my WFH pc monitors, something I could easily glacé at while on endless videos calls for work. I looked at the same Shinola then turned to my IWC Big Pilot, and it does the job beautifully. I wind it on Monday mornings and the 7 day power reserve is actually closer to 8, because I do t touch it until the following Monday and it’ll still have almost a full day of power left. I LOVE winding this baby, so smooth so nice. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE looking at the dial and long sweeping seconds hand, brings calm to my busy work situation.

I'd like that too, although the marqueterie version I want is a bit above my budget

The Atmos is epic, but very fragile if you plan to move it often. Here's my Panerai PAM00641 table clock with 8-day manual wind movement. For $3700 it's an easy choice for home and travel.

Added Bonus: At night the lume lasts all night long too, which is very important to me

Utterly stunning!

I was going to post the image below as soon as I read this thread, but I think I actually prefer yours.

I don’t own either, yet. I would very much like to!

If you use the lever below the Atmos clock to lock the mechanism, transport is not a big problem. No pix but I have an Audemars Piguet desk clock that is very nice.
