BRAND BATTLE - Hublot vs. Panerai

Hublot vs. Panerai

So, which brand is “better?” Which do you prefer and why?

Big fan of Panerai here, but I don't hate on Hublot.

I really like some Panerai models, but don't care for the look of any Hublot. That is one of the brands I'll never have in my watch case.

Hublot for me. I tried a couple of Panerai a few years ago and I was totally unimpressed.

I'd have to opt for Panerai in this instance. I get the appeal of the design - simple and essentially unchanged. The Hublot isn't as bad as most make it out to be - it just isn't for me as I'm pretty selective on what pieces make it into the watch box.

BRAND BATTLE - Hublot vs. Panerai

Panerai for me. Bought the first PAM in my life a few months ago.
No regrets what soever, top notch!
Hublot does not sing to me, never did to be complete honest.

I own neither but would like to add a Radiomir one day.

Voting Panerai, I just like it designs better generally. They just have a pretty clean simple and sleek design I like.

I may get some hate for this, but I’ve always felt Hublots are kind of a bastardized AP, their styling doesn’t seem overly original and to me that puts them in a fashion watch knockoff sort of thing despite the prices and movements.

Panerai has a pretty devoted and hardcore following for a reason. Panerai all day every day.

Don’t have either, but voted Panerai - respect for their loyalty to their own design language.

Panerai, at least, has an original design language.

I love both and I don’t think they are comparable. Hence I think this is a bad poll.

Last year I walked into a Hublot dealer with my Rolex bluesy. When his prices almost gave me heath attack, he tried to convince me how they were better and higher tier than Rolex. Ha, no way.

Not even close to VC, AP, Patek or Lange.

Panerai have some smart looking watches but for me they are on the border. Its a maybe oneday watch. I do however view them as quality watches though.
My view of Hublot is expensive fashion watches which I would never wear. Am sure owners will correct me and tell me all about their advanced technology etc, etc but sorry not for me, not my taste...

Love both, I would go PAM for more solid and reliable, as for Fashion I would go for Hublot

Personally I go Hublot in this contest.

These battles are absurd. Blondes vs brunettes? Sure you May have a preference for one or the other but can you really say I like all of one over the other? Arent there examples of each that you find appealing on their own regardless of the label?
